Besides, these platforms have abundant materials including documentation plus sample projects that will get you started.

  • Hardware Dependency: High-quality, advanced hardware is often required to get the most immersive and compelling augmented reality experiences. Therefore, users without specialized AR headsets or old smartphone models may experience substandard or limited experiences, limiting general acceptance. 
  • Privacy Concerns: AR blends digital information with the real world, so it often must access cameras, location data, and personal information. Therefore, it raises substantial privacy concerns for the users. So strict safeguards must be put in place. 
  • User Experience Quality: Providing a seamless, high-quality AR experience can be technically demanding and resource intensive. Additionally, problems such as latency, incorrect data overlaying, and low image resolution reduce the user’s satisfaction. Therefore, continuous technical enhancement and enormous capital outlay are required. 
  • Health Concerns: Long-term use of augmented reality, mainly through headsets, can result in physical discomfort. It may include eye strain, headaches, and sometimes motion sickness. Therefore, better ergonomic designs and instructions on using them safely over long durations are needed to address these health problems.
